On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Korean Canadian Athletic Association (KCAA), we like to thank you for supporting our athletes participating at the 18th Korean American National Sports Festival held in Washington, D.C., this summer. (http://kasa-gw.org/kasf/)
The KCAA’s inaugural participation in this event in 2009 was an overwhelming success. We came home with 2 Gold Medals in Men’s Hockey and Women’s Volleyball, and everyone involved has the experience of a lifetime. In 2011, we took home a Gold Medal in Hockey and in 2013, another Gold in Hockey and 2 Golds and a silver in taekwondo. This year will be Toronto’s fourth time invited to participate in this large scale event and we are proud to be sending 4 teams to represent the Korean Canadian community—hockey, basketball, golf, and taekwondo. The event consistently draws over 3,500 athletes and over 1,500 family and friends. As with any large scale event, we will require funds to plan and organize, support, and successfully commission these 4 teams comprised of over 40 athletes. Our hope is to allow our representative athletes to fully experience the support of a solid community behind them and make this amateur athlete experience the best one possible.
From our history and experience, it is well known that this special opportunity attracts many athletes and hopefuls from within the Korean-Canadian community, and ultimately helps Korean Canadians further establish their presence not only on a North American platform, but international stage as well. We look forward to working with you and sincerely thank you for your support in bringing this vision to fruition.

To support our 40 outstanding athletes this year, KCAA is welcoming assistance in the way of donations to ensure another successful showcase of our Korean Canadian talent. 100% of donation proceeds will go directly to helping our athletes in in Washington D.C. On June 19th – 20th, 2015. More specifically, you will be helping with the following expenses: registration fees, transportation, food and administrative fees, and lodging.
Suggested donation amounts are: $20, $50, $100, $300, $500.
